The **Project Coordinator** is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on JECI's projects to ensure they are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget while achieving the organization's mission and objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned projects and programs.
* Develop detailed project work plans, schedules, and implementation strategies.
* Ensure projects are implemented in accordance with JECI's policies, donor requirements, and applicable laws.
* Supervise project activities and ensure they are completed within the agreed timelines and budgets.
* Coordinate project teams, volunteers, and community stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
* Prepare project proposals, concept notes, work plans, and budgets.
* Monitor project progress and prepare regular technical and financial reports.
* Conduct field visits to monitor project implementation and provide technical support.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, schools, churches, government agencies, donors, and development partners.
* Organize meetings, workshops, training sessions, and community engagement activities.
* Ensure proper documentation and filing of project records, reports, attendance lists, and supporting evidence.
* Identify project risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
* Support resource mobilization by contributing to fundraising initiatives and proposal development.
* Coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection and analysis.
* Ensure safeguarding, child protection, gender equality, and inclusion are integrated into all project activities.
* Prepare success stories, case studies, and project impact reports for communication and donor reporting.
* Work closely with the Finance and Administration team to ensure proper utilization and accountability of project funds and resources.
* Represent JECI at meetings, forums, and community events when delegated.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Director in line with the organization's mission and objectives.

* Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Community Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting is an added advantage.

The Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer of JECI – Jesus' Call Initiative Limited and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the organization. He oversees the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all programs and projects to ensure they align with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
The Executive Director represents JECI in all official engagements with government agencies, development partners, donors, churches, community leaders, and other stakeholders. He promotes the organization's image and builds strong partnerships that enhance its capacity to serve vulnerable communities.
He is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans, annual work plans, organizational policies, and budgets while ensuring effective utilization of resources. He oversees financial management, accountability, and compliance with the laws of Uganda, donor requirements, and the organization's policies and procedures.
The Executive Director supervises and supports all staff members, volunteers, interns, and project teams, ensuring effective performance, professional development, and teamwork. He provides guidance, makes key operational decisions, and ensures that all departments work collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
He leads resource mobilization efforts by identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, engaging donors, and establishing partnerships that contribute to the sustainability and growth of the organization. He also oversees monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in program implementation.
The Executive Director promotes child safeguarding, ethical conduct, integrity, transparency, and Christian values in all organizational activities. He ensures that JECI maintains high standards of governance, service delivery, and community engagement while fostering innovation and identifying opportunities for organizational growth.

Reporting Relationship
The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the organization. He provides direct supervision to all departmental heads, project staff, administrative personnel, volunteers, and interns, ensuring effective coordination and implementation of JECI's programs and activities.
The Volunteer & Field Officer is responsible for coordinating volunteers and supporting the implementation of JECI – Jesus' Call Initiative Limited's community programs and field activities. The officer serves as the link between the organization and the communities it serves, ensuring that projects are implemented effectively and that beneficiaries receive the intended support.
The Volunteer & Field Officer recruits, registers, orients, and supervises volunteers, ensuring they understand JECI's mission, values, policies, and code of conduct. The officer assigns volunteers to appropriate activities, monitors their performance, and provides guidance to ensure quality service delivery.
The officer organizes and participates in community outreach activities, field visits, awareness campaigns, education support programs, youth empowerment initiatives, sports activities, humanitarian interventions, and other community development projects. During field activities, the officer identifies community needs, collects relevant data, and submits timely reports to support planning and decision-making.
The Volunteer & Field Officer works closely with community leaders, schools, churches, local government authorities, and other stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and promote community participation in JECI's programs. The officer also assists in mobilizing beneficiaries and coordinating meetings, workshops, training sessions, and public awareness events.
The officer monitors project activities in the field, documents success stories, challenges, and lessons learned, and ensures that project activities comply with JECI's policies, safeguarding standards, and donor requirements. The officer is responsible for maintaining accurate records of volunteers, beneficiaries, attendance registers, and field reports.
The Volunteer & Field Officer promotes child protection, gender equality, inclusion, integrity, accountability, and Christian values throughout all community engagements. The officer ensures that volunteers conduct themselves professionally and respectfully while representing JECI in the communities.
The Volunteer & Field Officer performs any other duties assigned by the Executive Director or Project Coordinator in support of the organization's mission and objectives.

The Education & Child Protection Officer shall be responsible for promoting quality education, safeguarding the rights and welfare of children, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children under the care of JECI.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee all education programs for orphans and vulnerable children supported by JECI.
Monitor children's school attendance, academic performance, discipline, and overall educational progress.
Liaise with schools, teachers, parents, guardians, and education authorities to ensure children receive quality education.
Identify children at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, violence, or abandonment and take appropriate child protection measures.
Ensure all JECI programs comply with national child protection laws, policies, and safeguarding standards.
Develop and implement child safeguarding policies, procedures, and awareness programs within the organization.
Conduct regular home visits, school visits, and child welfare assessments to monitor the wellbeing of beneficiaries.
Maintain accurate records of children's educational achievements, protection cases, and support services provided.
Provide guidance, counseling, and psychosocial support to vulnerable children and refer complex cases to relevant service providers.
Organize educational support initiatives such as school enrollment, scholastic materials distribution, mentoring, career guidance, and life-skills training.
Coordinate child sponsorship activities and prepare progress reports for sponsors and development partners.
Work closely with local government departments, schools, police, probation officers, community leaders, and other stakeholders on child protection matters.
Conduct awareness campaigns on children's rights, education, gender equality, child abuse prevention, and positive parenting within communities.
Support the identification, registration, and follow-up of vulnerable children requiring educational or protection assistance.
Ensure children living with disabilities receive inclusive education opportunities and equal access to JECI services.
Participate in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating education and child protection projects.

The Finance & Administration Officer shall be responsible for managing the organization's financial resources, administrative operations, procurement processes, and office management to ensure accountability, efficiency, transparency, and compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and manage annual budgets, departmental budgets, and project budgets in consultation with management.
Maintain accurate financial records, including cash books, ledgers, journals, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Process payments, receipts, payroll, and other financial transactions in accordance with JECI financial policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, donors, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor organizational expenditures to ensure they remain within approved budgets.
Manage the organization's bank accounts, cash flow, and petty cash systems.
Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements, cash books, and financial records.
Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and other government financial reporting requirements.
Develop, review, and implement sound financial management policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Oversee procurement processes to ensure transparency, value for money, and compliance with procurement policies.
Maintain an updated inventory and asset register for all organizational property and equipment.
Supervise office administration, records management, filing systems, and general office operations.
